A warm welcome and hello to you.
I'm Claire Banks, a counsellor and author, and I'm here to support you through life's challenges. As a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP 403768), I specialise in both short and long-term counselling for adults aged 18 and over in the UK. Whether you're navigating grief, anxiety or any other mental health concern, I offer online and telephone sessions so you can access counselling from the comfort and convenience of your own home. This personal space can be especially helpful when dealing with emotional ups and downs. I'm here to help, no matter where you are in the UK.
As I have faced many similar challenges to my clients in my own life, I can offer more than just professional support — I can offer real empathy that comes from shared experiences. The personal struggles I have overcome give me a deeper connection with my clients, allowing me to offer insights that are genuine and grounded in understanding, bringing decades of experience to my practice.
I have spent many years as a volunteer bereavement counsellor, drawn to the subject of grief because I know how difficult it can be for people to talk about. Having gone through my own experiences of loss, I understand just how important it is to have someone who listens and helps you navigate the unpredictable nature of grief at your pace, without pressure.
